He was recently honored with a national award, the 2011 401(k) Advisor Leadership Awardsponsored by Morningstar, Inc. and the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA). He is a Past-President and former board member of the Western Pension & Benefits Conference, and was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by that organization in 2008.
